A native of Fort Worth, TX Scott Rubin has many ties to the restaurant community in this area. At a young age, he soon developed a taste for fine food, excellent service and a creative atmosphere. After spending several years on the west coast, Scott came back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area when he was hired as a Catering Manager for SMU Catering and 3 years later he was moved into the position of Director of Catering for SMU. During his tenure his department has seen extraordinary growth and has been called upon by many distinguished celebrities, dignitaries and personalities such as Desmond Tutu, the Dali Lama, both former Presidents George H. Bush and George W. Bush, Prime Minister Tony Blair, Michael J. Fox, James Cameron and Julie Andrews as well as many local community groups. SMU Catering has become a very large part of Scott's life and he looks to expand and excel in his position while bringing SMU Catering into the forefront of premier catering services.

Juanita Ovalle has worked as a Catering Manager at SMU for ten years. She has been in the catering business for more than twenty years and specializes in outstanding customer service. Her guest list has included Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, Congressman Joe Barton, Dallas Mayors Tom Leppert and Mike Rawlings, Texas Rangers CEO Chuck Greenberg and Fox Business Network host and commentator John Stossel. Juanita has attended several catering conferences and tradeshows such as Catersource and is a member of The National Association of Catering & Events. When not working, Juanita loves to spend time with her family.
